  Watching you build with your daughter is healing the 13-year-old girl in me who BEGGED my father to teach me woodworking. He refused. It had a profound impact on my life in a negative way. I am in my 50s now and I am very, very moved by this. Thank you for being a good man.

  My daddy taught me how to build things and today, at 84 and 66, we still build together. &nbsp;May you and your daughter continue to build together for a lifetime.

  My brother and I embarked on a major renovation of our mom’s house when he was 28 and I was 23. That was nearly 40 years ago and since then we have collaborated on 5 different house renovations / new builds. We live about 500 miles apart, but manage to spend several weeks a year together building things. It’s an incredible way to build a bond with someone.

  I&apos;m 8 minutes in and this video is already a lot more about a father and daughter relationship than just woodworking.<br>I dream of this closeness with my own daughter.<br>Beautiful video so far!
