  I loved visiting the museum. We lived in Yorktown when my husband was in A school in the military.  My 13th book VOW of 1776 due out this month April 2026 is a historical romance about those area.

  Also when you go back to Jamestowne make sure you stop at the Glasshouse just before you cross onto the isthmus between Jamestown Settlement and Jamestowne Rediscovered/National Park. REALLY REALLY cool!

  Update for July 2026: Just fyi the Colonial Parkway is under construction and partially closed (re-opened just for July 4 weekend) and the tour guide app itself is free but you have to pay for any of the tours you want to do. I think the tour shown in this video is like $15. I think the parks are only open <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBSwsCFYeqo&amp;t=540">9:00</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBSwsCFYeqo&amp;t=300">5:00</a> so in the summer you can’t be in the museum parts after dark.

  When we first moved out to Richmond we toured the &quot;Historic Triangle&quot; . Harriet and I are big history buffs. &nbsp;They are &nbsp;still digging artifacts in Jamestown. So nice to see mom and dad<br>in the video. We just got back from the Williamsburg Jazz and Blues Festival.
