Absolutely love these breakdowns, it's so interesting to see the investigation and then have the guys talk you through it. Nige seems like a proper nice bloke too and clearly knows a fair bit more than the average person!

I had the misfortune of my V10 blowing up when the car was relatively young (about 3 years old). I've now had it for 11 years - original owner.<br><br>What killed the first one? A bad spark plug. It was presumed defective and broke off the tip into the cylinder. Needless to say, the engine didn't survive. Thankfully it was all under warranty, and Audi was extremely professional and good about the replacement.<br><br>These engines are actually very robust, but odd things can happen. Ricky is a legend in the R8 community. Thanks for the teardown!
