My friends warned the road to PDP was bad but I had no idea it was that bad. Look at all of that beautiful land - land the people can develop and live off. Look at the condition of the roads: that’s intentionally kept that way to slow commerce, progression, and disconnect the people. No functioning country should have roads in this condition. These horrible roads are a tremendous risk for relief efforts, healthcare, and development. Imagine how much the national would change should the roads improve. What a disappointment.

I pray that rough road is never paved. Paved roads will give the chabon merchants access to that virgin, ancient canopy in the mountains.
