  So I am pretty sure that the first toad that you found is a hybrid of a Southern toad and a Fowler's toad. We have a lot of cross breeding between the two species in the Carolinas.

  Those high school calls are mainly from the “senioridae schoollairus” they are native throughout North America and parts of Europe most of them are mating yells of them trying to get in a relation ship that will most likely fail in a couple months

  I absolutely love the green tree frog noises in the background,,, they sound like a bunch of tiny little clown cars,,,,, adorable 😭💞

  I 100% understand why y&apos;all were excited but I still find it adorable how excited y&apos;all were about species that I see outside my house everyday and one of the restaurants I used to work at green tree frog central they were just absolutely everywhere

  This herping video goes to show that wildlife is everywhere right under our noses, we just need to know where to look and you&apos;re bound to find something interesting if you look in the right places. Life always finds a way to survive.

  Gotta appreciate the fact they have the best interest out for the animals they catch. Putting the frogs and toads back in safe locations, then the turtle further out so kids wont grab it.

  I grew up in SC with a small garden pond outside my window. It took me YEARS to sleep ok without the sound of green tree frogs outside my window. They still make me sleepy.
