It's not as expensive as it sounds when you consider most of them will die, and Russia will report them as missing or AWOL, forfeiting any death payment or benefits to family.

Those are worse than Warhammer 40k Imperial Guard survival numbers.  The guard at least survives 15 hours in combat.

Probably important to remember they don't actually pay their soldiers. <br><br>First, you just don't have to. <br>Second, they don't live long enough to make it to their first paycheck.

Russia is heavily corrupt I do not believe that average soldier will see half of the money advertised.
