  Collecting physical media will always be important. In an age where buying isn&apos;t owning, physical media like game discs, CDs, DVDs, vinyl, etc. grow in importance exponentially.

  Honestly I think social media and the internet in general has removed people’s hobbies because they’re doomscrolling their time away instead of doing something else.

  One of my favourite quotes regarding hobbies is &quot;Comparison is a thief of joy&quot;<br>I think it perfectly sums up the trend I noticed recently in social media, everyone needs to be the best at what they&apos;re doing. Everyone needs to make money of it, having hobbies became some kind of sick race instead of something we simply like doing and escaping reality for a brief moment.
