  Donkeys are lovely. I wish l could visit them. SO awesome there's over 200 folks on a waiting list to volunteer. The donkey therapy made my heart soar

  A boy and his mule. &nbsp; <br>My family was lucky enough to have a <br>Mule as a family member. <br>He was a good friend for me as I grew up. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Mules are underestimated and undervalued. &nbsp; &nbsp; When I hear a mule or donkey, &nbsp;good memories, rush over me like a wave. &nbsp; Mules and donkeys are good people.

  I rescued a donkey to keep my male donkey company. &nbsp;She had been at a &nbsp;rescue for 7 years. &nbsp;We love our Sweet Pea it took her time to see we cared for her and wouldn&apos;t &nbsp;hurt her. &nbsp;She watched us love on our male and then she would ask for the same. &nbsp;Loved my donkeys.

  I sponsor a donkey at this sanctuary. &nbsp;Not only do they get critical vet care and pamper these donkeys, but they also educate the community about the proper housing and nutrition of donkeys. &nbsp; The land is rocky and grass sparse by design as donkeys are not meant to graze and be housed with livestock. &nbsp;So much respect for what they do!

  What a wonderful story. God bless the Donkey Sanctuary, the owners and all of the lovely volunteers and of course the burros. &nbsp;The world needs more humans like these.
