My older sister passed way on March 10th. She was a teenager in the 80's and loved the bands of the time. She taught me to love them as well. I've been listening to a lot of Def Leppard lately, especially Hysteria. This song is a masterpiece of production by Mutt Lange and performances by the band.

This album was HUGE. I wasn't into it but it was definitely the biggest album of that year. You couldn't go anywhere without hearing "Pour Some Sugar On Me" at least twice. Chicks loved this one a lot.

This album is worth listening to all the way through. It hit #1, 20 million copies sold worldwide, spawned 7 singles with singles being released for almost 2 years after the release of the album. The tour, In the Round, In Your Face lasted two years. You can see clips from the show in the video for Pour Some Sugar on Me.

Isn't it amazing how 80's music, when you hear it, it sounds as if it was made yesterday, the exquisit sounds, the quality of the recordings, and is so much so that it feels as if it belongs to nowadays creations, so modern and it'll never go away because 80's music is immortal, so glad I was alive back then and really felt how it impacted music forever.

my favorite band growing up as a teenager in the 80's. I'm actually seen in one of their videos when I was front row at one of their concerts in Philly.
