When I first saw the assault-drum sticks I assumed the points were supposed to be at the hitting end. But the fact that they're at the end you hold so they dig into your wrist is a higher level of genius

for the base drum you couldve used alltread rods and mount them between the top and bottom like you did with the ropes , pulling them together will tighten the drumbead <br>problem with the square boxes is the the corners will pull through the drumhead , a octagon would be better , anything closer to round would be better as it evens the tension on the drumhead <br>allso round over the edge for the drumhead , makes it slide eazier when tensioning and prevent the drumhead tearing on the edge when hitting it with a drumstick<br>if youre spending money on materials you might as well make it as good as you can
