  Another theme park &quot;lost media&quot; thing I think about a lot: haunted house walkthrough attractions. Things like Halloween Horror Nights are super popular and well-documented now, but there are so many old houses and scare zones that only exist in the form of descriptions of the memories of those who went through(memories that may not even be fully accurate either), and it&apos;s even worse in the case of events that might not be as popular/well-known where you&apos;ve got a fart&apos;s chance in the wind of finding any substantial info of what the experience might have been like. There&apos;s so much creativity that goes into these walkthrough attractions and I feel like they deserve just as much attention as the everyday park attractions when it comes to preserving them.

  As someone who rode the original ride,(and has original concept drawings as their profile) it did something to my stomach when i saw Zappomatic on the the thumbnail. I feel like The 5th Dimension has actually been getting more appreciation.

  One thing you can always be sure of is that UK dark rides are going to go hard and fully commit to the bit. Whether it&apos;s bizarre and esoteric plots, intentional or unintentional nightmare fuel, or just weird incomprehensible liminal spaces, they&apos;re always a treat.

  A children’s mascot that was intentionally terrifying? Mr. Blobby was truly ahead of his time! We need more Mr. Blobby!<br>Everything about this, from the name of the park to the “unfortunately placed stick” is absolute gold. 😂 Can’t wait to see more!

  Fun fact: In tomb blaster (the ride that later replaced fifth dimension) you can spot a zappomatic plush in the queue line on a shelf in a market stall
