I put "ride" in quotes in the title because though I do not consider this to be a ride, it is often colloquially called that. So the title is more algorithm friendly this way.

RIP Skippy. May you never be burned by a faulty teleporter again.

I went on this in about 2003, and all I thought was "Wow, this is truly a classic Disney attraction. New theme, new story, daring to be bold, and scary" Now everything has to be tied to a Disney license.

I bet this experience would have gotten a much different response if it was situated at Universal Studios

LOVE that you put so much effort to contact people actually involved instead of just taking the easy way out of repeating rumors everyone parrots

Even with all the horror on display, the thing that is scariest now is Jeffrey Jones trying to teleport himself to meet everyone at the expo hall.

The screams were not the only issue with the audio, there was also the language barrier. Any tourist who doesn’t know English well has no clue what’s going on as was the case for me and my family when we visited from Germany back in the 90s. All we knew was that we sat in a dark room, there was a bunch of noise, shaking, water, and flashing lights and that was it. We were pretty underwhelmed. 😂 Knowing now what the show was about, I wish I could have appreciated it more. But yeah, this attraction was simply in the wrong park.

Ever since I saw Defunctland's video back in 2017, and this ride genuinely looks like the scariest ride in Disney World history. This type of attraction would be absolutely perfect for Halloween Horror Nights.

Me and my dad went to this attraction back in 96 when I was 8 years old and I will never forget one guy in the audience yelling "PLEASE DON'T EAT ME MR ALIEN!!" 😂🤣

I was lucky to ride this twice as a teen. I was terrified the first time, but it was the highlight of our trip. The second time we brought a cousin and I touched her arm in the middle of the show. She cried. Still the best ride and a shame it's all gone.
