  Yes, I seek lower hunter pressure over anything else. Furthermore, as for Rut funnels over Doe areas...I prefer rut routes; fewer noses and eyes to bust you. I try to find a &quot;quick, quieter access&quot; as well. Quick in. Fewer eyes &amp; noses. Limit your visits...That&apos;s my over-simplified technique! Love your site. It&apos;s the BEST!!

  As a 76 year old hunter I’ve hunted every way possible and it’s all good. Now I just sit in my blind with bow, cross bow, muzzle loader or rifle. I only hunt for one mature buck a year to have an excuse to spend more time hunting

  Good question. &nbsp;I have a spot on my farm that is both a pinch point and a doe bedding area beside a tiny food plot. &nbsp; Because of these key points I don’t want to hunt any other spot on my farm.

  I&apos;ve bear hunted up in that area a couple times. Bear everywhere. Never saw a deer. Red Lake area l am guessing you are at.

  I enjoy the hunt. I don&apos;t need to choot a 150 incher to impress my buddies or to feel more superior to another hunter with a smaller buckdeer. People need to stop listening to these so called &quot;pros&quot;. According to the &quot;pros&quot; you&apos;ll choot more bucks sitting on your couch. Go back in time and tell your grandpa not to hunt this week because the wind is bad, or it&apos;s too warm, he&apos;d backhand your ass. Get out there and hunt, east wind, rain, what have you. I do quite well, freezer always full, and I hunt any chance I can, as grandpa and so on did. I&apos;ve never shot a deer from my couch, and I don&apos;t know anybody who has. I understand it&apos;s a saying about the weather, but still, dumb.

  I see more deer near the does. But I&apos;m not after DEER. I KILL mature bucks in the funnels but they are very boring to hunt a lot of times. <br><br>Bigger issue is I now hunt in the south mostly again. Not many &quot;funnels&quot; down here. Mostly one big arse thicket
