  I'm teaching about Sin and Repentance here in a Asian nation. I have been teaching yound adults  about the finished work of Christ alone by my best ability. Tomorrow I'm going to talk about sanctification and restoration. Saints pray for me.🙏🏼

  Well said. The gospel, rightly preached, is so free and liberating that it will cause charges of antinomianism. Yes, the law convicts us, but the gospel sets us free. As the Spirit gives us new life he will cause us to desire to obey God, not out of guilt, anxiety, and doubt, but out of gratitude.

  I was there at the conference. I was disappointed with much of what he said, especially when he quoted Romans 2:6ff as reference to the Christian life. Michael Reeves and Beeke were much more edifying to me to listen to at that conference. I will also say that when I was in the Lordship camp, I always walked away from a Washer sermon thinking I wasn’t saved. I told my wife a week ago that Washer could convince even Jesus that he sinned. lol…

  Dear Pastor Jon Moffitt, I wanted to thank you for addressing the topic of Lordship Salvation through your analysis of Paul Washer's sermon. Also, I truly appreciate that this video includes a Spanish audio translation.   Ex-Catholic from Germany here...Paul Washer&apos;s senons deeply frighten me, especially as I still sometimes struggle inwardly with &quot;grace alone&quot;. Not because I don&apos;t believe it, I do - with all my heart - but because of my upbringing. <br>The reflex after these frightening sermons is to examine myself and looking at the &quot;sanctification checklist&quot;: Prayed enough? Resisted sin enough? Grew enough in love and faith? Read the Bible enough?<br>And if you don&apos;t really &quot;feel&quot; or &quot;hear&quot; Jesus like so many others, if you have to rely on the Bible and prayer, this self-doubt can be very terrifying. <br>Thanks, Jon, for providing some clarity!
