  People who think this match is overrated or who don’t get the hype need to realise, and I say this with no exaggeration, that the average wwf fan in 1992 had never seen something of this spectacle before, it was truly groundbreaking

  Bret's entrance was simple and badass. No fireworks needed. Just his aura, everyone at the start staring at him thinking pink and black tights with black leather jacket and glasses looks badass. 😎

  That crowd was HUGE. Even though he had classic matches before this with Perfect and Piper this is truly the match where Bret Hart made his bones as a main eventer. From the time he came out from behind the curtain oozing cool until the very end, he owned this match. This is the match that convinced Vince he was WWF champion material.
