When you step into the ring with Bret, he does three things: takes care of his opponent, ensures the live audience gets their money's worth, and delivers a wrestling classic for those watching at home.

You know it’s a great match when Macho Man gives a standing ovation with the crowd.

4:20 Bret Hart's veteran instinct immediately recognized that ref Earl Hebner's blocking the hard camera and signals to him to move out of the way.

Bret's ring attire was ahead of its time.

This is why Bret Hart remains one of my most favorite wrestlers, his professionalism and tact really showed through. His sportsmanship was unmatched.

 Bret’s reaction at 0:42 ? That’s storytelling.

The best match of Waltman's career. He deserves his flowers.

This is always going to be THE match to show anyone how wrestling should be. It has everything, it personifies the STRUGGLE to win. Its hard hitting, it's intense, it's fast, slow, paced perfectly, it has an underdog babyface and a babyface Champion who despite usually being the smaller guy was himself the bigger guy here and had to be the "heel" here. Its just a masterclass.

The older I get the more I appreciate Hart. The dude was just so fluent and masterful between those ropes.
