  Like many others I&apos;m stunned by just how straight-up awful Moonlight Syndrome&apos;s ending is, but the detail that is really sticking with me is the self-insert getting a cool holy sword for the finale.<br>Tremendous job by both voice actresses for the phone call with Sa-chan.

  The ending of Moonlight Syndrome was genuinely unpleasant with the casual way it tossed the main characters to make it all about the random guy. It really seems like Suda wanted to make his own game with his own characters but got saddled with an existing franchise.

  Fun fact about the wrestling game: the original scenario had the protagonist killing himself only if he lost the final match, but there wasn’t enough space to do that so they just made that the canon ending

  One of the first things I noticed from the switch from Twilight Syndrome to Moonlight Syndrome was how much of an asshole everyone suddenly was. I don&apos;t know if it&apos;s just because of how much more truncated your summary of Twilight Syndrome was, but it felt as though in Moonlight Syndrome, all of the characters decided to be unsympathetic jerks. <br><br>Not to mention all of the elements crowbarred in that feel waaaaay too incongruous with the supposed high school setting, like all the sex and abortion and motorcycle driving and whatnot. Felt like Suda wrote a story with adult characters that then had high school uniforms pasted over them. Particularly with how much more... PG? Twilight Syndrome&apos;s horror came across in your summary, almost striking the same vibe that Goosebumps books had. IDK

  Wow, the short bit with the ghost on the telephone really gave me goosebumps. <br>Creepy and sad and in a weird way kind of wholesome. To be able to say goodbye to a dead friend is a nice thought.<br><br>Beautiful.

  I never heard about these games until this video and even I got mad at what they did with the characters and story in moonlight syndrome, can&apos;t imagine what it felt like for an actual fan of the series back in the day

  Maaan the voice acting was BRUTAL while Sa-chan was on the phone. Why do so many japanese horror games have to stay untranslated this is an unreal level of amazing! Human knew what was up years before anyone else figured this out. Thanks for covering such an amazing series for people.

  I was really engrossed in your overview of Twilight Syndrome, but after the Prank segment ended it feels as though I just whited out for 2 hours and came to with vague blurry memories of incest and Godzilla

  It&apos;s bizarre that my first exposure to Twilight/Moonlight Syndrome was from frickin Danganronpa, before I even knew it was a real game.
