That has to be the most long winded way to say, someone shat in a pot and then emptied outside in a latrine.

Thank you for explaining so clearly how American indigenous people treated each other and how they coped with their environments with mutual respect.

They endured blizzards long before modern comfort existed. Do you think we’ve forgotten the wisdom that once kept humanity alive?

A hard life, but so satisfying in working successfully towards the survival of every person. The knowledge held by one individual, by far outweighs that of a modern person. Yes there is technology now, but most people couldn’t create the things they use every day. Indigenous people are self sufficient, and understand their surroundings and neighbouring wild life species deeply. They will survive under any circumstances, most modern people would not.

History remembers the shelters and the fires—but the real survival secrets were often hidden in the routines of daily life." 👣❄

⚔️Enlightening info. FYI: On winter training Canadian army, we had a bivouac that included another 10 man tent, that had boards having 3 cut outs on each board set on a framed box, set for back to back sitting. Because it was mostly -50 in January at Alaska, the waste would land in cardboard boxes, that froze in minutes. But when a Yukon burner heated the area, it wasn’t pleasant. One veteran’s comment ’ How sweet it is.’ In a joking tone. Some tribes could’ve adapted this method, in centre of their camp, perhaps. 🛡️
