  Great to hear more from you on Nimble! I'm keen on pitching a "tier-1" nimble campaign to my group after we're done with our D&D adventure. We've tried a Nimble one-shot so far with mixed success, hoping to get a better understanding of the system with a longer adventure.

  Graveyard Shift is so good! It's a great example of using "gross" to enhance "scary", something King talked about in his book Danse Macabre.

  Have been playing Nimble for a few months. To my surprise, no one picked the commander. The shepherd is pretty versatile as a damage dealer and caster. The oathsworn is a really good tank. This game also makes humans more appealing by the bonuses they get.

  Giant rats in the cellar is how one of the Pathfinder 2e Start Sets kicks off. The rats got in through a tunnel dug by kobolds and there's a whole dungeon in there. But it starts with rats in the cellar. People make fun of things like this and the party meeting in the tavern. But the tropes are fun. People get tired of it when they've done it a ton, but when a player is new to RPGs they frequently want to experience those tropes at least once.

  Something to note re. the One Ring kickstarter: the core book is really just a reformatting/reorganisation of the existing rules (plus Strider), as far as I can tell. If you already own the book, FL will be giving you an updated PDF automatically. The 5e core is another matter, I think: all the rules will be in one book, whereas previous versions needed the PHB iirc.
