So please explain why Tesla is seeing its semi-truck backlog steadily grow, with the production being done in Nevada?<br><br>The real issue here is innovation that drives operating costs down for the trucking firms. Hoping that government regulation will force an industry towards EV’s isn’t an intelligent strategy. Making an EV that has a lower cost of ownership than diesel-engined legacy alternatives is a rational disruptive strategy.

The problem is price on all import goods hurts the consumers‘ pocket, thus stores need to cut cost by cuting transportion fee. The chain reaction back fired to the manufacturers. This is not unique, John Deers also impacted.

Strange! So if the "biggest" Volvo facility in the world is in "of course" USA how come the Volvo each of the Volvo plants in EU manufacture more trucks than Volvo North America?!?! No city in USA looks modern clean great big wide long & imperial like Moscow & Madrid!!!!

Business decisions are made well in advance of changes in operation. Volvo is carrying out long term decisions that affect its major production. Today sales and production follow the declines.
