  Left New England in '97 in the middle of the Big Dig. Moved back last year, and when work takes me through the city, I appreciate the improvements the Big Dig brought.

  Excellent doc, brings back memories when I lived there (89-93) and nightmares of driving to Logan to catch a plane somewhere.

  My god - I can&apos;t imagine a world without the Big Dig in Boston. As much as I hate traffic in Boston, I feel blessed compared to the old system. &lt;3 Union workers, politicians, and all those involved in the creation, planning, and implementation of the system.

  I drove truck for 34 years. I remember all the times trucking through Boston before during and after the big dig.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h24dhaHitBc&amp;t=141">2:21</a> - &nbsp;I had always thought The Big Dig should have been bigger. &nbsp;...With the addition of 2-4 railroad tracks between the stations, creating a bigger system of through-running suburban trains, and maybe adding Portland ME to Amtrak&apos;s Northeast Corridor.

  Yes Sir, I drove up to and through Boston . I delivered the admixture for all the concrete for the Big Dig. Sure was exciting. &nbsp;Also ran containers to the Port from New Jersey to the Port there ,right through down town Boston. Lots of work. Enjoyed it.

  Can you imagine the travesty of that ring road was fully built? That planner acts like it’s such a &nbsp;loss they didn’t get to destroy even more of bostons heart.
