  As some have mentioned, the 1999 cinematic masterpiece "The Mummy" featuring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz is another fantastic adventure that revolves around questionable archaeological practices.  For more Nazi-stomping action, the Rocketeer from 1991 is also a fantastic pulp adventure.

  A fun fact, is when young Indy uses the whip and gets a scar himself in the chin. Harrison Ford, in real life, has a scar in the same place, but in his case was due to a car crash when he was young.

  If you've got a taste for archeology and high adventure you have to watch the Mummy franchise - some of the later ones are hit or miss, but the first Mummy and the mummy returns are well worth putting up with the others

  At <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0oGXfVhNII&amp;t=3128">52:08</a> the facade here is actually a real world Archeological wonder of the world called Petra in Jordan. &nbsp;While there are many fascinating structures built out of the rocks there the cliffside structure is the most famous.

  The other two Indiana Jones movies may not be as good, but still entertaining. The Mummy, National Treasure, The Goonies, Pirates of the Caribbean
