  I told my husband that I was getting sick and he told me I wasn't and to be positive. So I said, "Okay. I'm positive I'm getting sick." LOL

  This is why Christians have a hard time with digesting disappointment and enduring suffering. There is a difference between having faith/clinging onto God’s promises and prosperity Gospel/Word of Faith theology, and that is humility!<br><br>Maturity in Christianity is praying that God’s will be done and not ours. And that we be accepting of His Good &amp; Perfect will for our lives, despite our desires and preferences.

  There is this “homeopathic doctor” who told my dad he should do yoga for holistic healing from cancer.<br>I told this doctor that we are Christians and we don’t do yoga as it’s against our faith.<br>He said that it’s “not spiritual” and &nbsp;that i am “preventing” my dad from getting holistic treatment because of my “beliefs”.<br>I told him, I’d rather believe in the power of my God than doing yoga.<br><br>I praise God for the discernment.

  Before I got saved, these things depressed me because they always make it like you can’t do something because of you’re not making such and such affirmations. <br>It never moved a needle but instead even set me back. <br>However, getting saved and believing in Christ our savior is undoing that at a rapid pace. <br>Thanks be to God.
