  Smart people knows the drill:  Food, utilities, housing (rent or mortgage) first...before any luxury items.

  I worked for Louis Vuitton for 3 Years!  80% of what is sold in this store is cheap trash!  Extremely overpriced and although the company does not want to, they cater to clients that want to be the Big Show, but cannot afford Hermes ( I worked for Hermes for over 8 Years).  People do not realize that the Monogram and Damier pattern handbags and wallets are all essentially plastic/canvas!  The Neverfull Tote that every single person seems to have and think they are so special used to be a $900 bag. Now it’s $2000 and up!  Not made in France, but Texas or California!  LV is definitely a fake rich flex by the people that purchased this stuff!

  Most people don't have the money for overpriced trendy trash. Quality might have been a thing in the past with them, but it's quite gone now. Everything is made in Asian sweat shops.
