Wish the video stressed the huge difference of INPATIENT vs OUTPATIENT/RETAIL techs. (it was barely mentioned)<br>The tech left out DATA ENTRY /insurance, which is the biggest and most daunting thing to get that paid insurance claim to go through. Hospitals have their own drug formularies and so do the insurance companies. . The tricks, codes , and prior authorizations, grant programs for uninsured - is where the meat of what we do as Techs. This is done usually solely by techs - NOT pharmacists.

Dont do it. 11 year vet, most undervalued and underpayed job in the market. Go push carts for walmart for the same pay and 100x less stress on your body, mind and soul.

Getting paid while you learn? That would have changed my whole life! I remember juggling my old job and studying at the same time and it was exhausting. My experience with medicalprep was worth it, but programs like this make me happy for people coming up behind me
