I like Jonathan Ferguson, The Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum in the UK which houses a collection of thousands of iconic weapons throughout history.
He really does look like he enjoys his job. Also, he seems to even enjoy looking at cursed gun designs too.

"They're like best friends" Yeah, kinda, Jonathan Ferguson, the Keeper of Firearms and Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum in the UK, which houses a collection of thousands of iconic weapons throughout history, has even gotten Dave, after he left Gamespot, to do some promotional videos for the Museum and has gotten him into some of the firing sessions for new museum acquisitions.

The Mechanicus managing to be sticklers for tradition while getting things ever so slightly wrong is entirely canon. Magos Land (of Land Raider and Land Speeder fame) created a cybernetic monkey familiar for himself, but reacted to being told that the tail was probably an extra grasping and balancing limb for maneuvering through trees with scorn, because CLEARLY the tail was more analogous to scorpion's and had an envenomed barb at the end.

Huh, I learned something. I always thought that the galvanic rifles were coil guns that uses the capacitor to charge the coil between shots, not the bullets themselves using galvanism to make a charge on impact. Cool.

The slide and hammer setup on the last one reminds me more of the C96 Mauser Pistol
