  Alan was my replacement father. I met him when I was 18 years old, and he kept me company through dark times, for ten years. <br>He is the father I wanted to have. Soft, gentle, patient, open minded, intellectually precise and yet adventurous, and with a great sense of humor.

  I have always thought that the man made religions are the problem. &nbsp;Spirituality is important, &nbsp;religions are not. God is where you need him, not at churches.
