  Do not get things twisted, Tyra Banks was the executive producer of the show. She knew what she was doing and had a big part in the story lines. There are a lot of moments that are re-dubbed but where they forgot to do that in the flashback. So you can hear the nasty things she would say to the models before redubbing it with something not nearly as harsh to make the models look like they were overreacting. <br>She also had a hand in creating the documentary, so take from that what you will.

  The whole documentary was a Black woman saying &quot;we know NOW about racism and sexism, we didn&apos;t at the time&quot; which is crazy.

  also worthy of noting, in the “7 deadly sins” episode they’re posing in caskets at a cemetery because one of the girls had gotten a call the NIGHT BEFORE telling her a childhood friend had suddenly passed away

  Poor Shandi describing horrific abuse that happened ON CAMERA with no intervention from production and then it immediately cuts to Tyra saying “I remember her story” with no emotion like she was just another storyline for her tv show 😢I feel so bad for Shandi. Whoever did the title cards are shady boots though, Tyra says she doesn’t have a hand in production as her title card under her face says “Executive Producer” 💀 CLOCK IT!

  There was an episode I think about a lot, where they made the models do nude or nearly nude photoshoots, and at least one of the models was EXTREMELY uncomfortable with doing that, and they were like “no but you get pasties, you’re not completely naked.” and eventually I think the model did do the shoot, and I think about that every time I am walking by the bra section of a store and see pasties

  Tyra Banks has claimed that she was playing a character on the show. &nbsp;That does not excuse her behavior, though, and I&apos;m not sure I believe her, either.

  Tyra and more so the showrunner in this doc feels like when they had that villain producer interviewed in that documentary about the Japanese Truman show game show contestant who lived off sweepstakes for two years
