  What's even funnier about Hegseth quoting Pulp Fiction is the fact that the end speech of that movie is Julian realizing he was never the shepherd, he was representing the tyranny of evil men. So not only does Hegseth not know the basics of the Bible, he also doesn't understand Pulp Fiction.

  Just a little info on the clock it symbol, it comes from ballroom culture and means that you are “clocking” that someone is trans and don’t pass well. So it’s a way of nagging each other in the community (some times light hearted but also sometimes quite mean). Instead use the middle finger and thumb movement. It originates as the sign language way to say the number 8 as in you ate that. Also because it is usually a way of clapping. Dfferent ballroom cultures also have assigned specific good meanings to it. And AGAIN the POINTER FINGER and thumb one means “I’m clocking that you don’t pass well as a trans person” then the culture outside of ballroom stole it and started to change the meaning.

  What makes the David and Goliath metaphor better it's also the opposite. Slings were military weapons and the text establishes that David is a sharpshooter and Goliath is the arrogant one for thinking he'll win based entirely off of his size while David has already won before the sword fight begins because he brought a gun.
