Based on how she's playing it and the large number of wordplay gags about it in session zero, I am 99.9% certain that Marisha's character concept came entirely from the joke "Joan of Orc".

Kudos to Sam for being able to play a cowardly character without derailing the story that the group is trying to tell! Coming up with the rationale that he's not keen on advancing, but also doesn't want to go back by himself is a great way to roleplay while keeping the group together. (I shudder from flashbacks of past games I've played where players did not understand this lesson.)

Man, Matt having Truvo tell the players "You did the right thing" so that they would feel secure in their choices, before making it so that bringing Eryn back was the worst thing they possibly could have done is such an impressive move, I almost can't be mad. Almost.
