I lived a few meters from the bottom of the "Alexander MacKenzie Trail" in the Bella Coola Valley. McKenzie was 'guided' along his journey by various local indigenous nations along a network of trails well established over thousands of years. The trail from Bella Coola climbing up has been in use for thousands of years trading Ooligan grease.

My 1290 is almost ready to hit the road and come west for a month to explore BC from Sask. All I have left to get is hand guards as well large foot pegs and a cactus canteen and a fuel bladder. My knobby tires will be here next week. I’m hoping to be there at the beginning of August for at least a month fingers crossed I can go till mid September. Thank you for another wonderful video 🍻
