  Timeline: day 1 is the day he went to see the general. He gets tased. Day 2 he wakes up on the base and is introduced to the squad. Day 3 is the day he dies and absorbs the mimic’s blood, which sends him back to the morning of the previous day. Day 2 he wakes up on the bags, goes to Rita, and they recruit the squad. They fly to Paris, he kills the Omega and absorbs its blood as he dies, and he resets back to the beginning of the previous day, which is the morning of day 1. That’s why he’s back on the helicopter going to his meeting with the general. He and the omega died the night of day 2, which would reset to the morning of day 1. &nbsp;My question is how does anyone on day 1 know about the explosion in Paris, which doesn’t actually happen until the night of day 2? That part is crazy. Great reaction!

  This is based on a Japanese light novel (then manga) titled &apos;All You Need Is Kill. &apos; They eventually made an anime and released it the beginning of this year. My son and I saw it in theater and loved it!
