  I've watched a few videos about this balett, and yours is the first one that mentions that there are two different endings. I was so confused why all of them show something different at the end. Thank you for explaining it so well, now I'm truly ready to see my first ballet next month! 😁

  I always thought it was bullshit that Siegfried accidentally declaring his love for someone disguised as Odette apparently counted as betrayal. It&apos;s not like he was actively cheating on her <s>cough like Albrecht with Bathilde</s><br>As far as he knew, he was swearing to love Odette and didn&apos;t know Odile even existed. After all, the black costume is for the <b>audience&apos;s</b> benefit, the characters don&apos;t know they&apos;re in a ballet.

  Egyptian Mythology tells a story of Isis, Osiris, and Nephthys. Nephthys pretends to be Isis as she is jealous of her sisters relationship with Osiris. She deceives Osiris and Isis finds out and is heartbroken. Osiris begs for her forgiveness….<br>Sounds similar yes? Mythology at the root of all timeless classics ❤thank you for making this video!

  I remember watching Barbie and the Swan Lake as a child and it has been one of my favorite movies . It was much later that I learnt that it &nbsp;was an adaptation of an original ballet. And how I love this tune, it&apos;s so dreamy and ethereal ❤️

  I live in East Lansing, Michigan and I’m going to the Wharton center to see us. A friend of mine told me to do my research to know what’s going on so I’m happy I did looking forward to seeing this production.

  I finally saw Swan Lake last year and i was so confused at the end when they didn&apos;t jump to their deaths. I had no idea at the time there were alternate endings, and i was unfortunate to get the &quot;happy&quot; version 😢

  Thank you for a wonderfully concise and clear description of the tale of the Ballet.<br>We are travelling to Armenia in 2 weeks and bought tickets for the Ballet at the National Armenian Opera &amp; Ballet house. Now we know the story of it too ;)

  Saw Swan Lake ballet this evening; it was awesome! &nbsp;But, the ending was the happy one, where neither died. &nbsp;Never-the-less my wife and I had a great experience.

  I remember watching &quot;Barbie in the pink shoes&quot; and I remember this ballet was mentioned, actually that was how I got a rough idea of ballet at maybe the age of 7-8. I loved the movie, still do, as I love this ballet.

  I&apos;ve never seen swan lake the ballet. But i loved the swan princess as a child and still do. I love love love odettes name! I vaguely knew what swan lake was about, but when you Said odettes name at the beginning i put two and two together and realized the movie is based on the ballet. I did ballet for several years and my mother took me to see a few, most notably the nutcracker. But i really can&apos;t believe i never put them together until now!

  Wow, I hope you continue to make these videos. I dont consider myself a very deep person. I don&apos;t naturally pick up the meaning behind poetry, dance etc. It&apos;s nice to get an explanation with the visual.
