  Pre order 66 light saber combat is like classical music. Refined, structured, very set rules, standards which are used to make incredibly complex fights for one box of tools. Post order 66 forms are like jazz where you master the basics then build off of them however you want.

  I love the idea of hybridizing Makashi and Juyo. &nbsp;Both are great for creating/exploiting gaps in an opponent&apos;s defenses, giving it a very dangerous &apos;DEF Bypass&apos; vibe.<br><br>Mentally, Juyo builds a mental/emotional furnace in their psyche, applying control to direct that energy through their body like an engine. &nbsp;Depending on how strong that control is and how &apos;hot&apos; you burn the engine, you need to balance them to walk the razor&apos;s edge between animalistic berserk fury and &nbsp;transcendance. &nbsp;Applying the raw discipline of Makashi to that reinforces one&apos;s control, allowing one to more easily reach that transcendance or burn the engine even hotter than the baseline limits.<br><br>Juyo also opens oneself up to the Force, rendering a user vulnerable to an opponent&apos;s Force powers. &nbsp;The &apos;city gates&apos; are opened to let the Force flow in more freely. &nbsp;Makashi uses mental discipline and control to maintain a strong resistance to the opponent&apos;s Force powers. &nbsp;I can imagine the user applying the Makashi control to effectively create a &apos;city guard&apos; to defend against an opponent&apos;s Force powers without having to &apos;close the city gates&apos;. &nbsp;A disciplined and persistent sentinel of alertness, blocking malicious intent while allowing the user&apos;s inner engine to pull in power from outside.<br><br>This could remove the standard disadvantage of Juyo being vulnerable to other Force powers, at the cost of Makashi&apos;s advantage of being strong against them. &nbsp;An act of balancing, which one could also adjust in a spectrum between &apos;open&apos; and &apos;locked down&apos; depending on the situation.<br><br>Additionally, Juyo&apos;s engine of power could help compensate for the limited power generation of Makashi&apos;s economic precise movements through it&apos;s enhanced amplification of physical strength.
