L Ron Hubbard, the story of a man & the lengths he went to, to avoid paying taxes.

There was a time not so long ago when Scientology would have come after this channel.

I think the most fascinating part and the part which needs more study, is how Hubbard was close with members of OTO, Satanism and Black Magick practitioners. He seemingly regurgitated Thelema and Theosophy with a coat of Xenu paint and for some reason people bought into it.

Lesson unlearned: how easily people are duped and willingly join groups which are obviously cult-like or outright dangerous cults. It's happening as we type.

His story is kind of bizarre (beyond the obvious), in terms of how he was always overseas or literally in hiding. Normally a cult leader needs to be directly involved to keep a thing like this together. With Hubbard it was like it took on a life of its own independent of him. Thanks for the interesting insights.

The EVIL of scientology has to be taken seriously.

The fact that people actually take this seriously and Scientology is tax exempt is maddening. Why does he look like Chuck McGill?
