Since the soldiers buried are unknown they could be anyone's missing loved one therefore bringing honor to all families of unknown soldiers.

Actually the Vietnam body from the tomb was identified through DNA. It was First Lieutenant Michael Blassie who won several medals including the distinguished flying cross and the Purple Heart. Blassie was removed from the tomb in a big ceremony and relocated to St. Louis to be buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery near his family. The tomb was slightly rebuilt as the Vietnam slab was removed and replaced with one stating Honoring and Keeping Faith with America's Missing Servicemen 1958 – 1975.
I tried to visit the national cemetery myself several years back but never got to because of my parents being Asian and oddly superstitious about the dead. We visited the national zoo that day instead. Still would have gone to pay some type of tribute at least, plus I kinda wanted to exactly know the cemetery itself as I have a bit of a fascination with architecture and history. I’ve never acted on it just studied it a little. It’s like a curiosity I have.

Shakespeare described the final years of a long-lived person as
“Second childhood and mere oblivion.”
About the first time around in diapers, Irish comedian Ed Byrne, who was then a new father, said
“I live with two people, and they both leak.”
🤣

So he can read? I thought Babu was explaining things because he could not read. Glad to see he understands it all. It's a great story.

In 1981-82, I was selected for the US Navy Ceremonial Guard. We were part of Honors Ceremonies for Foreign Dignitaries many times. Please show the Guys this video of my former Command. It is the Navy Drill Team and it is amazing what they do. Better than when I was there!! The 7 minute video title is: "US Navy Presidential Ceremonial Honor Guard at Norway".
