  btw, that mirror room in Mario 64? It's actually an elaborate trick I believe. You aren't actually seeing a reflection I don't think. I think you're just seeing another Mario on the other side of the mirror, to respond to your inputs, creating an illusion of a reflection. Some really old games that had reflection-like effects would use that illusionary effect method to simulate a reflection-like effect, as at the time of some very old games, technology hadn't yet advanced enough for real reflection effects to work. I could potentially be wrong about that for Mario 64, but I do know games in the very long gone retro games eras, would use this trick to simulate a reflection in 3D games when technology couldn't perform it yet in gaming.

  another thing about the wario head: there was a commercial for super mario land 2 where a floating wario head would &quot;hypnotize&quot; the people of mario land to attack mario

  One of my favourite myths is that mario in mario 64 us under an illusion by bowser and never actually wins due to the creepy cake ending and everything since then is marios imagination while being imprisoned pretty creepy !!! Also there was one I read about a cancelled Santa npc in cool cool mountain
