  In conclusion: The Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft provided a decent on-the-go experience, but after the Bedrock Edition update, it slowly became one of the worst ways to play the game.

  I got minecraft for my swtich lite in 2021. It ran at a solid 50-60fps all the time even at 14 chunks with anti aliasing. My brother and I even figured out how to get shaders to work on it (pre-render dragon update) and it still ran at 45+ fps most of the time. <br>After caves and cliffs dropped, performance dropped with it. Chunks took much longer to load in, the framerate was much less stable, etc.<br>Fast forward to today and its even worse. I have to drop the render distance to 8 to see a constant 60fps, and new chunks still take a long time to load. I got a PC that can run the game at 170fps at 24 chunks, but I still can&apos;t believe how badly they tanked the switch version.

  That leaked email by Microsoft about Phil Spencer wanting to buy Nintendo as his &quot;career moment&quot; could&apos;ve played a role, because that leak pissed off a lot of console war Nintendo fans. The Nintendo fans who grew up during the Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 look at how Microsoft mismanages Rare.

  I’m absolutely obsessed with the Wii U. It’s my favorite console of all time. When I figured out you couldn’t have one person play on the tv and one on the gamepad I was so sad. So much missed potential

  Last update made a huge improvement in peformance, I get better fps than before, even server lobbies got from 10 fps to 30+ fps

  After my Xbox 360 was sold since i decided to be a nintendo fan, Minecraft WiiU was my main version. I had a full survival world and everything. I can remember the world pretty well (for those who dont remember, Legacy Minecraft had no unlimited worlds, so this is all in a quarter of the map). I had a village that i had barricaded with a 5 tall stone wall around it. Sadly i didn’t know the villagers would despawn so i was alone :(. I had a big pen completely filled with like 20 dogs, a little leave hut, converted a house into a 2 story mini house, a double chest with half of it filled with iron (i have absolutely no idea how i found that much) a mini stone shrine that help my maxed out Diamond Sword, a hut made for fishing, a giant 2x2 chunk hole to bedrock and a nether wart farm. I never built in the nether so nothing interesting. I miss having fun and time to put work into something i enjoyed. I never got to full diamond, never beat the end and i was happy, spending all my time maintaining my farm
