  About the camera angles, I wanted to add that the fixed camera heavily added to the feeling of the characters being watched/stalked. A lot of them are set up as if we're the creature/"psycho killer" peeking at them from behind corners or trees and I love when horror media does that.

  Changing the wendigo screams is a crime. They were ear-deafening and it just added to the tension to have your eardrums destroyed.

  The contrast in music is insane! The music in the original for that final sequence was so nail bitingly tense, and then in the remake it’s pretty much silent

  My jaw DROPPED at the scored parts. The score of something is SO important and gives things terror and urgency. The remake scenes with no score seemed almost comical in comparison to the scares the original gave.
