Great video! I think SH it's a masterpiece, even with its janky combat. It's exceptionally well preserved.

The HD collection versions of SH2 and SH3 have their flaws. But to be honest, the complaints about the fog feel hollow to me. Yes, the fog effects are weaker in the HD Collection. But it's no worse then the Restless Memories version on Xbox. And that X-Box version is considered the definitive version of SH2 by many. The core problem with the fog in SH2 and SH3 is that it was specifically made with the specific way the PS2's emotion engine rendered things in mind. Other rendering methods just don't handle such things the same ways. It's also why emulating games like Fatal Frame is so difficult.

might be a controversial take but Townfall made the right call having basically one boss fight. Harry, James, Heather, Simon, Sadako all have no reason to be skilled fighters who kill five demonic bosses so focus combat on just basic survival.
