I always imagined the astronomer to be a kind, gentle soul. He would for sure let a down on his luck kid stay in his observatory overnight if it meant not sleeping on the streets.

My best friend in kindergarten, Brian, and I, bonded over how this song was our favorite back in 2000. We spent every holiday together and traded Pokémon cards, experienced all the trends together, never missed a week without seeing the other. Even set up a beat down so he could look good in front of a girl he was into, haha. One day in 2015 I was listening to a playlist with over 9000 songs on shuffle and the moment I saw the news about him passing, this song came on the instant the news set in. Now I know that he’s telling me when I want to visit him, I just have to look up and see what he wants to point me to next. Still talk to him, mostly while listening to this. Doesn’t feel like he’s entirely gone. Thanks for this upload.

Despite majoras mask being such a dark game, it has such beautiful moments and characters. The wonder a child must feel in this amazing observatory, joining a kind astronomer as he lets you gaze through the telescope to the moon must be an experience like no other. Not to mention the music that accompanies such a beautiful location. Definitely one of my favorite tracks of this amazing game.

Life feels so lonely man. Just don’t wanna be here anymore, but songs like this keep that little flame burning

Oh, wow! I loved hanging out here as a kid playing Majora's Mask. It felt safe somehow, as long as you didn't look through the telescope lol. Thanks for adding this.

5:36 i think he would let us sleep on the couch, and be like "dont make a mess, goodnight kiddo!"

At first I was skeptical about the song being slower, but this only makes it feel more like a sleepy night there. It's perfect. I loved it here so much as a kid. I would go here just to look around.

Some part of me wants to live in the Majora's Mask timeline but I forget how sad it is to take into account that everyone is being tortured By Skull Kid and the Moon, All Link can do is reset the timeline every 3 days to prevent the moon from falling and killing a lot of innocent lives. Sure It's probably sad to think what would've happened if link didn't go through the woods getting his ocarina stolen by the imp there are some parts of this game that aren't all that sad. This being one of them :)
