Excellent, informative discussion. Paulina Borsook not only foreshadowed the societal costs of unregulated cyber technology, funded by the very government it wanted to dismantle, but also remains relevant to today’s understanding of what those costs have been and how this unregulated sector continues to threaten the very existence of our increasingly fragile democratic republic.

We used to fear that a rogue General would push the button. It seems more and more likely that a rogue tech bro will have his own proverbial button to push that will cause some life-changing event to happen and we won't even know that it existed until afterward, maybe, for a brief moment.
