  I went to and graduated high school with Aaron.  He was always a very talented and nice guy.  President of our senior class.  Such a remarkable career and worthy contribution to the world.

  Many dispute his politics, but what you cant dispute is that Sorkin is a genius and is one of the best writers in Film and TV history.

  Aaron Sorkin says he&apos;s better on paper than in face to face, yet I love listening to him talk. His insights and delivery of those insights never stop drawing my interest.

  The West Wing was, &quot;Stop your life!!! The West Wing is on!&quot; for a number of years in my house. (Right up until Sorkin left and then, wow, was his absence felt.)<br><br>Then I watched the Newsroom. And again and again. &nbsp;I bought the DVD box set. I could watch the opening scene of the first episode endlessly ❤

  “Painting not a photograph”…great framing of the art form. <br><br>Great Q&amp;A and conversational. Technique of taking answers and conversion and questioning off the answer. Means the interviewer is absorbing the conversation. <br><br>Great line of questions, both in the writing process and how real life not only imitates life, but is how art is also capable to set a narrative for how people view life. <br><br>His nod to Rob Reiner speaks to his understanding that it’s a collective process.
