I tried heating my home with skirting boards, but after I had ripped all of them off the walls and burnt them all, the place got very chilly.

We have the 1960s version of those still in our house. They worked surprisingly well. Not been used for a couple of years as we've got air/air.

Seeing the Quooker box in the foreground at the beginning told me all I needed to know about how much was paid for this system….!

If I paid that much I would want it to have a better fit, even if the main point is the heating. Maybe you could glue some quarter round or shoe molding along the bottom.
Wooden boards can be bent along uneven floors or cut/planed down if it's really bad.

Don't worry, lads comes with an early warning system when there's a leak. Damp walls and popping floorboards.

A friend of mine had a house from the sixties or seventies that had heated skirting. Run by a massive oil burner. That was expensive to run. And didn't give off enough heat.
He scrapped it.
Hopefully decades on this works better. Looks OK. Come back in twenty years for a verdict.

We have thermaskirt in our bungalow in N. Ireland - (we use a biomass wood pellet boiler). Great to see Ethan and Carl on the job.

Ran the electric version around a bedroom, because it's what the client wanted. It looked like something out of an old fashioned porta cabin.
