<b>Key Points to Remember After You Watch The Video. (Thank Me Later):</b><br>1. ADHD is not just a brain problem but a full body issue because everything in your body is connected (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE">0:00</a>).<br><br>2. When your brain has trouble focusing, it is often like a fire, and that fire is usually starting in your gut (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=19">0:19</a>).<br><br>3. Your gut has a special system called the enteric nervous system that acts like a second brain and talks to your head constantly (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=270">4:30</a>).<br><br>4. If you have a leaky gut, bad things like toxins can get into your blood and cause inflammation that makes your brain act out (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=1066">17:46</a>).<br><br>5. Eating ultra processed foods and sugar can hurt your good gut bacteria and make ADHD symptoms much worse (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=1283">21:23</a>).<br><br>6. Many kids and adults with ADHD are missing important nutrients like magnesium, zinc, and omega 3 fats that their brains need to work well (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=1594">26:34</a>).<br><br>7. You can use a special five step plan to heal your gut by removing bad foods, adding missing nutrients, and fixing the gut lining (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=1247">20:47</a>).<br><br>8. Doctors should act like detectives to find the specific root cause for each person instead of just giving everyone the same medicine (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=1957">32:37</a>).<br><br>9. Your diet and lifestyle choices are often more important than just taking a pill when it comes to managing focus (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=2528">42:08</a>).<br><br>10. Testing your blood for things like vitamins and toxins is a great first step to see what is really happening under the hood (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=1706">28:26</a>).<br><br>11. Eating a breakfast with protein, healthy fats, and fiber is much better for your brain than eating sugary cereals (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=2386">39:46</a>).<br><br>12. Removing food dyes and artificial colors from your diet can help improve behavior and attention in children (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=2441">40:41</a>).<br><br>13. Your body and brain are one team, so you must heal your whole body to help your brain think clearly (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=2606">43:26</a>).<br><br>14. Do not let people tell you that suffering with focus is just a character flaw when it is likely a sign that your body needs help (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=906">15:06</a>).<br><br>Hope I hit 100K subscribers soon.... so my dad stops thinking I’m wasting time helping people. 💪💪💪

I've been on keto for five years now thanks to you and Dr. Westman, Prof. Tim Noaks, Dr. Berg, Dr Eckberg, Dr. Rob Lustig, Prof. Huberman. After 55 years, I've come to the conclusion that all my life I've been suffering ADHD albeit mild. Prof. Huberman on his podcast put it this way, "it's a wrong wiring in your brain." there are some medications to take but I can surely talk from experience that keto has helped me keep it in control.

I wouldn’t say “it’s not the brain” it is the brain issue. Now are there things to help with the symptoms, absolutely.

This is Dr. Hyman’s advice from most of his videos, slanted for the theme of ADHD. There are many neurodivergent folks who watch their health and diet, but were born with neurological and receptor defecits. Brain scans show up to 30% less executive function. With such a painful lag in life, of course many of us do our best to be anti-inflammatory with the right nutrients and fatty acids. This is a rehash of the doc’s greatest hits, which are very helpful to anyone not living well already. Thank you, sir, but we could lead model lives, and still have basic defecits, sensory dysregulation, and autonomic imbalances. We still float around trying to feel grounded, no matter how healthy our lifestyles.

I must say I have to agree with the idea of gut health causing many of these "brain issues". I went on a candida diet in my mid 30s and totally reversed my bi-polar disorder along with many other conditions at the time. I also have to agree that the treatment with drugs for ADHD is also just a bandaid. However, the question is why do these people have terrible gut problems? Gut problems that never seem to go away. I grew up as a kid in fear, fear of everything. I believe growing up in the state of "fight or flight mode", caused my body to develop in that mode, meaning my heart, lungs, and brain developed extra strong while my lower organs developed less than adequate. This causes constant issues with digestion etc. and turning the gut to act like a normal person is almost impossible. The diet I was on years ago was extremely strict and certainly isn't sustainable as much as it makes one feel better. Its a total curse. Anyone who talks about a cure for candida is lying. Treatment yes, cure nope.

Yes! Handwriting can tell what is happening in the brain. And how people walk can also tell a lot about the brain function. <br><br>I saw/see my handwriting change/fluctuate depending on my brain balance<br>Heal your gut, heal your brain. <br><br>Feed the good bugs or bad bugs?

This makes so much sense 😊 my focus fell apart in perimenopause, foggy, scattered, exhausted. Felt like my brain broke. Then a woman in a support group mentioned the Menopause Transition Playbook by (Lisa.Grant). It cleared the fog through food, 27 lbs down, sleep reset, focus back. Feels like hidden info women should know.

Dr. Legrand an ADHD (ADD) doctor has medically interviewed and blood tested near 12,000 ADD diagnosed individuals.<br><br>He has learned remarkable findings with some shortages like PEA over 90% are lacking. Discovering correlations of symptoms to specific metabolic shortages, which maybe many are related to gut biome health. Dr. Legrand also has a very informative channel. <br><br>Also, I think there is a health link to the quality of our daily thought quality as much as the quality of our diet. <br><br>Grounding and or earthing increases blood viscosity delivering immunity response in the blood while balancing cellular energy for optimized cellular function

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZHMFOIm8ZE&t=1561">26:01</a> that's incredible to see this physical change in hand writing as a result to changing this young boys expression . Im a natropth and social worker and have watched changes my self. Not to this leave (not conducting the functional testing to getthe very specific results) but absolutely diet, stress levels, chemical overload, system in balance is EVERYTHING. Its wonderful to see functional medicine paving the way to REAL health.
