  I just started playing again! I enjoy the game so much now! I used to play back 2016-2019 and then quit.

  This is some good food! Those first few years, Overwatch had a magic to it that I couldn&apos;t quite place but I think you hit the nail on the head.<br><br>I started playing in 2019, was addicted to competitive and enthralled by the lore. When OW2 launched, I played reluctantly for a year and then quit. Tried again in 2023 and vowed to never play again. 2022-2025 was such a depressing and frustrating time for the game in every regard.<br><br>My friend and I hopped on a few weeks ago with the relaunch and we had so much fun, it was euphoric lol. I love Jetpack cat so much.<br><br>I seriously thought OW was going to slowly rot and die. My tastes in games has completely changed so I&apos;m still done with OW, but it makes my heart feel warm seeing it in such a good state :&gt;

  Im so glad you brought up the player numbers being high on steam and including the fact thats its high on other launchers/servers cause people are always doomposting this game is dying now, and as someone who wasnt there for overwatch 2 it was interesting to see what happened to a game I only played very little of when it had originally come out.

  To me it’s hilarious because I originally played when it originally came out and had a blast! But I started to fall off with the release of doom fist and my pc broke and life happened and I barely got my pc back in 2026 and it feels like the game never missed a beat haha! I’m having an absolute blast right now!
