  Men have never respected women. They respect other men, thats why when they approach you they ask if you are married. The respect goes to who ‘owns’ you.

  Submission, compliance and obedience are not pillars of respect. It is slavery. Respect is about consideration of others beliefs or the lack thereof, their way of life or values, taking into account that it does not endanger or damage other people in the process. Thanks, great video.

  Men pretend not to understand these social dynamics as if they weren't the ones structurally benefiting from patriarchy. When the subject is gender oppression, they use gaslighting to make women think they are crazy.

  There is no such thing as love without respect. <br><br>People mistake attachment and other things with love. <br><br>A person can want to be around you, be attached to you, have feelings about you, and not love you.<br><br>This phrase 100% sets women up for mistreatment and sets men up to keep making excuses for their bad behavior, emotional immaturity, and poor relational skills.

  This video is also a valuable teaching for adults who were abused as kids by their &quot;caregivers.&quot; Many times, they&apos;re told that their parents loved them the best way they knew how. Possibly. But there is no denying that their parents didn&apos;t respect them.

  💯 My emotionally and financially abusive ex-husband told me every day he “loved” me. I said “show, don’t tell” for 7 years, like a stuck record. Then I finally got wise enough to leave and go no contact.
