Lets be honest 90% of people that buy capture devices like Tonex, Quad core etc do not actually make their own captures. Products that can play but not capture suit most people

I like the Kemper the best but the Tonex is a very close second. Those 2 seem to have a slight sweetness to them and seem more responsive to his playing. The others are still good enough, and so close that you really can't go wrong with any of them.

**You are able to capture with the Kemper Profiler Player with using the software without using a higher end Kemper unit

I went with Headrush because I like the interface. it's a matter of gain and EQ to get them all to sound 95% the same.

Kemper wins hands down... Tonex the follower. Reminds me a recent interview with Michael Britt where he says I'll switch the day I find a better unit but still haven't found it since 10 years... I agree.

The blind tests really made it hard to tell which was which. They’re all doing a good job.<br>Here’s the things I’d liked discussed in the follow up:<br>1. Dial them in with any tool the device offers and how do they sound?<br>2. Play them without the cab capture through the same cab and compare.<br>3. Compare the process of searching for and loading a capture/profile. NOT just a purchased capture. <br>4. Try 3 different purchased captures of the same amp and compare them in just one device to see how much they vary.
