I took a small dose of shrooms, then went into my garden to look for the caterpillars that have been eating my veggies... What were very well camouflaged little creatures, were now absolutely visible to me. The shrooms somehow helped me see through their disguises. This is not a visual enhancement, per se, but rather, an alteration of our perception. A very evolutionarily beneficial alteration of our perception.

Shrooms are closer to us than shrooms to grass or trees

I took a big dose of shrooms a few years ago and I remember distinctly finding the meaning of life and crying of happiness, but I can't recall what I actually experienced that made me feel that way, I just very strongly remember it felt spiritually fulfilling in the mose insane way.

I often wonder if the idea to smoke plants first came from people getting oxygen-deprived or poisoned by wildfires or by burning different plants as fuel for fires. Eating something to get us high is one thing, it seems natural because so many animals do it already, but the act of burning something purely to breathe in the smoke is completely unique to humans so it intrigues me far more
