20:03 btw to prevent this you can try to learn what the buttons do in the same room you find Shadowheart. You can attempt at the insight with all of the 3 characters

Oh do not get me started on Pokémon.
You most always get hit by a 30% insta-kill move, but you never seem to be able to land 90% move.

I wonder why the Sims devs didn't opt for the classic Murphy Bed trope of the bed folding while the sim is in it.

Minecraft, worst seed ever: See Kikoskia's first hardcore minecraft LP try... where he spawned in dirt and immediately suffocated.

i can't help but think of something i read about the shortest possible Monopoly game.
i forget the exact details, but this is what i remembered:
-first player rolls doubles several times, landing on chance or community chest at least once along the way, and drawing a specific card that give extra money.
-second player (this assumes there are only two) slao rolld doubles, but gets at least once card that makes him lose money.
-first player rolls double several times, draws another good card, then lands on Park Place AND Boardwalk, buys both, and builds 3 houses on each.
-second player rolls double several times, gets another bad card, then lands on Boardwalk. and goes Bankrupt.
very unlikely to happen.

So many of these things are making me think of Forrest gump when he's talking about the box of chocolates but instead of a box of chocolates he says life is like a Russian roulette handgun you never know which gauge is going to blow your head off

I have one for this. In Mass Effect 3, if you use the Arc Pistol during the Mars section of the game. When you have to slowmo fire at Dr Eva Core you literally cannot charge your pistol in time. It's so slow that you die every time

The Blue Prince PS5 save bug. It was patched, but in April 2025 it was possible to have a bug where your game claimed to be saving, only to lose hours and hours of progress because saving was broken on your entire file, until patch, with absolutely no way to start again and avoid this, let alone rescue your 100+ hour save.
